
Watch and Learn is a spy sim I started building in Unity that explores the tension between a citizen’s right to privacy and the state’s duty to protect its people.
The game takes place in a world where the promise of security and convenience trumps a citizen’s right to privacy and as the player you are tasked with investigating a family by accessing the connected technology in their home in order to surveil them. But as the player surveils the family, the player too is having their actions recorded and monitored.
1984 meets the Sims.
